Whiskey And Rye

Rye House; the Rockets Speedway circuit, was a ball. Thanks for organizing it all Jason (C&J Rotax, top left here). The weather has been diabolical over the past couple of weeks, and I was being pessimistic. Expecting Jason to be riding a one horse race in a paddy field, while everybody else stayed at home. But he organized sunshine too; he's very well connected. Thanks to everyone for letting me try out their steeds - Scotty #88 I'd like to try yours too next time. Steve 'Outtacontrolla' as well as the frisky Vertemati #59, also bought along his Husaberg FE400 enduro which in the sludge with it's knobblies, was sublime - but cheating. Anthony's CoBuilt #47 out shone everything else - in my novice hands at least. Riding my CCM #C26 on road tyres was a silly idea, but I wanted to give it a go anyhows. #100X is Wilky and his Roberts Rotax. Black plate is Ian Cramp with his Crampton Rotax. No plate (centre bottom) is GI and his Woods Rotax. #41 is Randal and his pukka FTR250 with twin down-tubes, imported via Australia. Thanks for the boots Stevie, they were a Cinderella fit. BP

Quite amazing how GI manages to ride with no legs.

...no more amazing than the incredible space age textiles that keep Ben's shirt spotless!

ben, aswell as boots, you should really think about up-dating your lid. maybe an early eighties kangol would offer more protection!!!.
