The Brit engine in the Maico frame looks like an early unit 350 or 500 Triumph (distributor mounted behind the barrels), mounted at an angle and some hacking about applied to the gearbox.

Also, what happened to the Ariel's tank? Looks like someone dropped a brick on it.

well I meant its expensive if you happen to be skint that day and lived in the fantasy world of hoping to one day find and own a beat up old off road brit single for pottering round the lanes and tracks on for sensible money, ahh such is life in our progressive society
